Tanzania Revenue Authority (TRA) was established under the Tanzania Revenue Authority Act No.11 0f 1995.The Authority is a semi-autonomous agency of the Government responsible for the administration of the Central Government taxes as well as several non-tax revenues. 

TRA is currently implementing its Third Corporate Plan whose vision is to be ‘A Modern Tax Administration’ TRA would like to recruit dynamic experienced and qualified personnel to fill vacant positions in the Customs and Excise, Domestic Revenue and Human Resources and Administration Departments. Applications are therefore invited from suitably qualified Tanzanians for the following positions:

Purpose of the Job  
To attend to internal and external incoming and outgoing calls, and attend visitors including directing them to respective offices. 

Major Activities of the Job  
(i)Manage help desk  
(ii)To attend to incomimg and out going telephone calls.  
(iii)To register all calls,assist visitors and take messages where necessary 
(iv)Ensure that the reception\swithboard is clean and tidy all times.  
(v)To register and provide weekly reports for all outgoing calls 
 (vi)Forward messages to appropriate offices.  
(vii)Report any bad event occuring in her\his place of work.
 (viii) Perform any other duties assigned by supervisor.  

Minimum Job Requirements Qualification  
Certificate in Front Office Management or Telephone operator studies or its equivalent from a recognised institution obtained after the year 2010.

(i)At least one year work experience in a similar position.  
(ii)Experience in customer care, telephone handling skills will be an added advantage.
